Job summary

ASX invites applications for a Salesforce Developer to join the Digital and Enterprise Technology team in Australia. You will design, build and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud, leveraging Apex, LWC and Data 360.

The role emphasizes secure design, data governance and API integrations with external systems. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, participate in SCRUM delivery, and contribute to digital transformation

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud
• Ability to develop in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC and Java, with expert knowledge of Salesforce DX and agile delivery practices
• Good understanding of the Salesforce architecture with solid platform experience
• Familiarity with integration patterns related to Salesforce - REST API, Java API, Streaming API and ESB
• Experience with DevOps principles, Copado and GitLab
• Knowledge of Salesforce Data 360 data streams, DMOs and identity resolution
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, FLS and OWDs
• Experience designing analytics that comply with privacy, consent and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the ASX Salesforce delivery team to define and refine requirements and translate these into robust Salesforce solutions
• Design, build and maintain scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Data 360 using declarative and programmatic approaches
• Develop and design solutions across Apex, LWC, VisualForce, Omni Studio and SOQL/SOSL
• Work on digital transformation initiatives and improve the core platform and customer-facing features
• Implement and maintain Copado pipelines for version control, CI/CD, automated testing and release governance
• Enforce data governance standards including access controls, data classification, lineage documentation and field-level security
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools
• Participate in solution design, estimation and backlog prioritisation within SCRUM delivery squad
• Support performance tuning, governor limit management and platform health monitoring

Your responsibilities

• Assist the ASX Salesforce delivery team to define and refine requirements and translate these into robust, enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions

• Design, build and maintain scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Data 360 using both declarative and programmatic approaches

• Develop and design solutions delivered across the range of Salesforce technologies- Apex, LWC, VisualForce, Omni Studio and SOQL/SOSL

• Work on digital transformation initiatives across the continuous improvement of the core platform and delivery of new and enhanced customer-facing features

• Implement and maintain Copado pipelines to enforce version control, CI/CD, automated testing and release governance across Salesforce environments

• Enforce data governance standards including access controls, data classification, lineage documentation and field-level security

• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, change data capture and middleware tools

• Participate in solution design, estimation and backlog prioritisation as part of a dedicated agile, cross-functional delivery squad working under SCRUM methodology

• Support performance tuning, governor limit management and proactive monitoring of platform health

Your experience and qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrable delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud

• Ability to develop in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC and Java, with expert knowledge of Salesforce DX and agile delivery practices

• Good understanding of the underlying Salesforce architecture with the ability to demonstrate solid experience on the platform

• Familiarity with integration patterns as they relate to Salesforce - REST API, Java API, Streaming API and ESB

• Previous experience working with DevOps principles, with exposure to Copado and GitLab

• Working knowledge of Salesforce Data 360 including data stream configuration, DMOs, identity resolution and calculated insights

• Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model - profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security and org-wide defaults

• Experience designing analytics solutions that comply with privacy, consent and regulatory requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to refine requirements

• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification

• Exposure to Salesforce analytics platforms including CRM Analytics, Tableau Next and Data 360

• Recent experience developing for the Customer Community Cloud using Lightning Web Components

• Exposure to third-party offerings such as DocuSign, Temenos, Adobe Experience Manager or similar CMS

• Previous experience in financial services organisations or capital markets would be a distinct advantage

• Good understanding of microservices architecture and API development using event-driven architecture - Salesforce Event Bus in particular

• AI and Einstein features - Next Best Action, Einstein Copilot, Agentforce agent configuration
