Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District in rural NSW seeks a senior Registered Nurse to join the Werris Creek Multi-Purpose Service on a rotating roster. This permanent role offers full-time, part-time, or casual opportunities with a competitive hourly remuneration and generous rural incentives.

You will provide a broad scope of care across general medical, subacute, aged care and community services while delivering emergency response and coordinating with the broader health team.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical assessment and evidence-based decision making.
• Ability to deliver individualised care and advocate for patients.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• In charge and triage experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical and subacute care.
• Deliver first-line emergency response and stabilisation prior to transfer.
• Care for a mix of aged care residents and acute patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Support residents and patients with informed health decisions.
