Transport for NSW is seeking a specialist to manage the Risk Register, provide expert interpretation of risk data, and support executive decision making. The role includes governance, data quality, and developing controls in a high-reliability environment.
You will engage with executives and Risk/Safety professionals to enable risk-based decisions and respond to regulatory requests, while working from our Burwood office in a hybrid arrangement.

This permanent position is located in our Burwood office. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance and approved remote working.

You’ll have professional experience in the development, management, and application of a risk register for a complex, high reliability environment. You’ll have demonstrated ability to provide expert level analysis of safety and operational risk data.
Your communication and collaboration skills will set you up for success in this role, as you will be required to work with and positively influence executives, the senior leadership team and professional peers in relation to the use and interpretation of safety risk reports and data.
You will have proven ability to accurately manipulate risk data (textual and numerical) within and between different software applications and reporting tools. You should have tertiary qualifications in a Risk relevant discipline.
