Job summary

Our client, a well-established Australian investment and funds management business, seeks an experienced risk and compliance contractor to support key initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will deliver risk and compliance outcomes, improve controls and embed a stronger risk culture across the business.

This 6-month fixed-term contract offers an opportunity to drive governance enhancements and AML/CTF initiatives within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in risk, compliance, governance or operational risk within Australian financial services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to deliver a risk and compliance improvement program.
• Develop and maintain risk and controls documentation across functions.
• Conduct controls reviews and assist testing to ensure effectiveness.
• Support governance, policies and compliance processes.
• Contribute to AML/CTF, third-party risk, business continuity and resilience.
• Provide monitoring, oversight and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Drive practical risk management outcomes and knowledge transfer.
