Job summary

BDO Canberra is seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants to join the Project & Program Assurance and Internal Audit practice areas. You will engage with Federal Government clients to assess governance, risk management, and project delivery across complex transformations, delivering practical insights to improve outcomes.

You will work alongside experienced leaders, developing your consulting, assurance, and stakeholder management skills within a collaborative and high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to project and program assurance, internal audit, risk management, governance, project management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• The ability to gather and assess evidence, identify risks, and develop practical recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach to working with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Work with Federal Government clients to assess and improve governance, risk management, project delivery, and control environments across complex transformation and business change initiatives.
• Contribute to assurance and advisory engagements through stakeholder engagement, research, analysis, risk assessments, and reporting.
• Develop practical insights that help clients achieve better outcomes.
