Job summary

Filtronic is seeking a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to join the Cambridge Systems Engineering team. You will contribute to the design and development of advanced analogue and digital electronic systems from concept through volume manufacture.

Work with RF, software, firmware and mechanical engineers on products for telecommunications, space, defence and high-altitude platforms. Role involves system-level design, integration, verification and manufacturing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in analogue and digital circuit design at component level.
• Schematic capture and PCB design tools experience; Altium Designer is desirable.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI design and testing principles.

Responsibilities

• Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits for products.
• Develop signal conditioning circuits, filters, amplifiers and power modules.
• Create digital systems with microprocessors, ADCs, DACs and logic.
• Produce specifications, perform simulations and assist component selection.
• Capture schematics and define PCB requirements and stack-up.
