• Strong background in contract administration, drafting, or legal review in higher education, government or research-intensive environments.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with ability to manage complex contracting matters and balance risk with institutional goals.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to the research community in administration and processing of contracts and agreements for externally sponsored projects, and delivering timely advice.
• Reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions of research-related agreements with industry, government, and other institutions.
• Collaborating with the Research Development and Support team to identify and resolve issues in sponsored project contracting.
• Reviewing researcher contractual obligations and program deliverables required by funding schemes.
