Job summary

Victoria's Legal Services Board + Commission (VLSB+C) is recruiting a Senior Resolution Adviser for its Conduct & Compliance team. You will provide specialist guidance on complex complaints against lawyers, develop recommendations and lead regulatory projects, while engaging with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

The role requires strong regulatory understanding, excellent communication, and a track record in complaint handling within government or regulated sectors.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of legal practice and regulation, with ability to interpret and apply legislation and case law relating to complaints against lawyers.
• Substantial experience in customer service, complaint handling, government or regulatory environments, with strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder relationship skills.
• High level of computer literacy and ability to handle information with confidentiality and privacy; tertiary law qualification highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on complex complaints about lawyers, developing recommendations.
• Lead projects and initiatives within Conduct & Compliance.
• Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to drive regulatory outcomes.
