Job summary
Infrastructure Business Growth Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast seeks a senior Building Services/Facility Management Engineer for a six-month rail asset inspection engagement starting September 2026. The role combines site inspections with desktop engineering review and formal reporting on rail building services infrastructure.

Qualifications
- Degree-qualified mechanical or hydraulic engineer with building services experience.
- Experience conducting asset inspections, audits and/or testing.
- Ability to interpret drawings, designs and maintenance records.
- Strong reporting and engineering assessment skills.
Responsibilities
- Undertake detailed inspections and technical assessments of rail assets.
- Identify, document and assess defects and areas requiring further investigation.
- Provide engineering advice on defect treatment, remediation and repair.
- Review existing designs, drawings, maintenance records and inspection history.
- Compare observed asset condition against design requirements and standards.
- Analyse findings to determine asset condition and risk.
- Prepare clear technical reports and supporting documentation.
- RPEQ accreditation is a bonus, though not required.
