Icon Cancer Centre Canberra invites a Senior Radiation Therapist to join our busy, high-performing Radiation Oncology team. You will work with the Radiation Therapy Manager and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver patient-centred care across planning and treatment services.

This role offers a full-time position with a 9-day fortnight, relocation assistance, generous leave and ongoing professional development opportunities to expand expertise in advanced planning and treatment techniques.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Radiation Therapist.
• ACT Radiation Use Licence or ability to obtain one (assistance available).
• Strong technical expertise in planning and delivery of radiation therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and teamwork.
• Understanding of private healthcare service delivery models.
• Commitment to clinical protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy planning and treatment per protocols.
• Provide patient-centred care meeting quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists and the MDT.
• Contribute to clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Support outstanding patient experiences with professional care.
• Maintain high standards of treatment delivery and safety.
