Job summary

Evolve Scientific invites applications for a full-time, 3-6 month casual Product Development role based in Western Sydney. The role involves developing and implementing new products, managing projects from start to finish, and coordinating with Development Chefs, Production, Procurement and Quality to meet production schedules.

The successful candidate will hold a Degree in Food Science, have PD experience with RTE meals/meat products, and demonstrate knowledge of labeling legislation.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Food Science or equivalent essential.
• Recent experience in a PD role with RTE meals and meat products preferable.
• Proven understanding of all legislative requirements for labeling.
• Creative and ability to think outside the box with a positive, driven personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
• Liaise and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of new products, processes and packaging.
• Project management from initiation through to completion.
• Work on costings and feasibility.
• Collaborate with Specification Technologist on documentation.
• Running factory trials accurately and to production schedule.
• Administration and data recording of all trial information.
• Liaise with Development Chefs, Production, Procurement, Quality and other departments.
