Job summary

Seymour Whyte seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor for the Western Region, based in Binduli, WA, to work on the Great Eastern Highway Underpass project. The role offers project uplift, DIDO and LAFHA benefits, and involvement in a highly complex infrastructure assignment.

You will liaise with project leadership, develop measurement quantities, participate in monthly forecasts, manage QA quantity interfaces, and oversee subcontractor quantity control to ensure cost accuracy and progress.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Science, Quantity Surveying or Project/Construction Management.
• 5–10 years’ experience in construction cost planning, tendering or project delivery.
• Experience with 3D/GIS modelling packages (Autocad, 12D, TBC) and forecast software.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Project leadership to support project model, take-offs and cost control.
• Understand MOF/MoM and allocate quantities accordingly.
• Contribute to monthly reporting, forecasting and reconciliation of quantities.
• Engage with Engineers and QA on quantity interfaces with QA system, lot records, WBS and progress.
• Manage subcontractor quantity control per subcontract type.
