Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain a greenfield vulnerability management platform across a multi-cloud environment. You will drive scalable backend services and ensure robust, secure software delivery.

You will contribute to a collaborative environment with a focus on testing, automation and modern data platforms such as cloud data lakes, Apache Iceberg, Airflow and dbt.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with Python backend expertise
• Design, build and maintain scalable backend systems
• Strong background in microservices architecture, Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Good understanding of cloud-native environments and security tooling
• Commitment to high-quality, reliable code through testing and automation
• Experience with data platforms (cloud data lakes, Iceberg, Airflow, dbt) is a strong advantage
