The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a part time (FTE 0.4) Senior Psychology Teacher to join our team at Chinchilla Christian College, commencing Term 1, January 2026. The ability to teach other subjects will also be required.

Qualities, Qualifications, Skills

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for teaching Psychology and other classes as required.

You will be required to:

  • Provide a current Christian church leader as a referee.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education, or a Graduate Diploma if you hold a Bachelor in a different field.
  • Be a qualified teacher with QLD College of Teacher's Registration (QCT) or be able to obtain QCT Registration.
  • Support the College's mission, aims and values.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and be able to teach it from a Biblical perspective.
  • Contribute to co‑curricular activities.
  • Confidently lead student learning within a productive classroom environment.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, with an ability to effectively prioritise.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Hold a current Australian work authorisation.
