Queensland Health is seeking a Psychologist - Team Leader (Advanced) to lead a team of psychologists delivering services across Logan & Beaudesert Health Service. You will combine advanced clinical practice with operational leadership, supervise staff and contribute to service development.

Reporting to the Director of Psychology, you will lead recruitment, workforce planning and professional development, influence clinical practice, and promote evidence-based models of care across a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge, skills and experience in contemporary psychology practice relevant to the clinical services provided.
• Ability to provide operational, clinical and strategic leadership to a psychology team.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience providing clinical practice supervision, education and professional development to psychologists and students.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced psychology services across a broad range of clinical areas with a high degree of independence.
• Provide operational and professional leadership to a team of approximately 8.5 FTE psychologists.
• Provide clinical advice, direction and practice supervision to psychologists, students and less experienced staff.
• Lead recruitment, orientation, performance development and workforce planning activities.
