Job summary

Metro North Health Brisbane - North is seeking a Senior Psychologist (Eating Disorders Service) to provide expert psychological care for consumers with complex eating disorders in a specialised acute inpatient setting.

You will deliver evidence-based therapies, lead quality improvement initiatives, mentor junior psychologists and students, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-level psychological assessment, formulation and interventions for adolescents with complex mental health and AOD concerns.
• Apply advanced clinical expertise across assessment, risk management, care planning and therapy.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, influence treatment planning and partner with consumers, families and stakeholders.
• Provide expert consultation and clinical advice on complex presentations, contributing to service excellence.
• Lead quality improvement, research and innovation to enhance psychological services and evidence-based care.
• Mentor and supervise psychologists, students and multidisciplinary staff, shaping professional development and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities
