Job summary

The HR Room is seeking a Senior Psychologist to lead psychological assessments with optional therapy, joining a supportive team from Canberra or fully remote Australia-wide. You’ll handle autism/ADHD, cognitive and educational assessments and supervise early-career clinicians.

You’ll work with children, adolescents and adults, providing evidence-based assessments, with opportunities to supervise and train peers, while maintaining high professional standards and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Registered psychologist with AHPRA and full clinical registration.
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments.
• Experience in supervision or training.
• Board-approved supervisor status or willingness to obtain.
• Endorsements (Clinical, Educational or Neuropsychological) advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality psychological assessments across ages.
• Provide diagnostic formulation and reporting.
• Offer supervision, mentoring and training to colleagues.
• Incorporate therapy into caseload if desired.
• Contribute to clinical quality and best-practice.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and development.
