Paragon Medics Pty is recruiting a Unit Clinical Director for a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit in Northern Sydney. You will provide specialist psychiatric care while leading clinical governance and delivering high‑quality mental health services in a multidisciplinary environment.

The role combines senior clinical practice with medical workforce leadership, governance, education and research activities, with opportunities to teach trainees and contribute to quality improvement projects.

Qualifikationen

• Must have MBBS or equivalent with current registration or eligibility in Australia.
• FRANZCP or recognition as Specialist Psychiatrist by the Medical Board of Australia or eligible.
• Overseas-trained psychiatrists with appropriate pathway may be considered.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide clinical leadership across the Mental Health Intensive Care Unit.
• Lead high-quality, safe, recovery-oriented mental health services.
• Oversee clinical governance within the unit.
• Lead and manage medical staff and support performance development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership across mental health services.
• Contribute to teaching, research and quality improvement.
