Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a national builder delivering large and diverse projects in Australia. You will lead end-to-end project delivery, manage programs and budgets, and maintain strict safety and quality standards across Brisbane sites.

Qualifications

• Stable track record delivering new build projects in Australia for the head contractor.
• Strong tenure in your employment history.
• Trade or tertiary qualification in construction.
• Strong software skills in Procore, Jobpac and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: lead the project life cycle from tender handover to practical completion.
• Programming & Scheduling: develop and manage baseline programs and hit milestones.
• Quality Assurance: implement and oversee PQP to meet NCC and client requirements.
• BIF Act Compliance: manage finances per the Security of Payment Act 2017 and issue payment schedules on time.
• Budgetary Control: monthly cost-to-complete forecasting and reporting to protect margins.
• Procurement: review negotiations and letting of major trade packages with back-to-back terms.
• WHS Leadership: drive a safety-first culture on-site in line with WHS QLD regulations.
• QBCC Alignment: ensure site activities align with QBCC licensing requirements.
• Client Liaison: provide transparent reporting to Principal/Client and manage expectations.
• Consultant Coordination: direct the design team for constructability and IFC release.
• Leadership: mentor Site Managers and Contract Administrators for a high-performance culture.
