We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex technology transformation programs and projects. The role will manage project planning, governance, financials, resources, risks, dependencies and stakeholder engagement while ensuring successful delivery against agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with customers, technical architects, engineering teams, vendors and senior stakeholders to deliver projects across IT Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Centre and Managed Services environments.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure, network, cloud and cybersecurity projects from initiation through planning, execution, transition and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, milestones, resources, dependencies, budgets and deliverables.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and technical workstreams across enterprise and telecommunications environments.
• Maintain RAID registers covering Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies, ensuring appropriate ownership, mitigation and escalation.
• Work closely with technical teams including Network Engineers, Security Engineers, Cloud Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, Solution Architects and Technical SMEs.
• Facilitate project kick-offs, technical workshops, weekly status meetings, steering committee meetings and executive governance forums.
• Prepare clear and concise project status reports, executive dashboards and steering committee presentations.
• Ensure appropriate testing, acceptance criteria, documentation, operational readiness and handover activities are completed.
• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement across project management processes, governance and delivery methodologies.
• Participate in project reviews and lessons-learned sessions and incorporate improvements into future delivery.
• Plan and provide operational oversight in database maintenance with minimal impact to customers;
• Ensure projects deliver measurable business and technology outcomes while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Keyrequirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in Project Management / Senior Project Management roles.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), infrastructure delivery lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with enterprise customers, technology vendors and geographically distributed delivery teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work effectively with executives, business stakeholders, technical architects, engineers and operational teams.
• Experience working within a Systems Integrator, Telecommunications, Managed Services or Technology Consulting organisation would be highly regarded.
• Experience delivering projects for large enterprise and telecommunications customers would be advantageous.
