Navantia Australia Pty Ltd. invites applications for a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects within a defence and maritime context.

This 2-year fixed-term, part-time role sits in the Innovation team and reports to the Chief Information Officer. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure delivery on time, safely and within budget while navigating security and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years' experience in project or program management delivering complex projects.
• Experience delivering defence, maritime, shipbuilding, autonomous systems, software-intensive or similarly regulated technology programs.
• Strong expertise in integrated planning and scheduling.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience working with Defence or government clients within structured contractual and security frameworks.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end delivery of project scope.
• Develop integrated schedules, budgets, milestones, resource plans and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, autonomy, software, systems integration, cyber security, safety, assurance and commercial functions.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change control and delivery assurance.
• Lead project governance activities, including executive reporting, steering committees and decision forums.
• Monitor project performance, forecasts, budget expenditure and supplier delivery outcomes.
• Manage subcontractors and strategic partners to ensure quality, compliance and contract performance.
• Support verification, validation, testing, trials and acceptance activities.
• Ensure compliance with Defence requirements, security obligations, quality standards and applicable legislation.
• Foster a delivery-focused culture with strong accountability and collaboration.
