Job summary

Contract Resources is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a long-term decommissioning program for a major operator in the WA Oil &Gas sector. The role is based in Jandakot with travel to sites and the CBD office as required.

You will oversee project planning, budgeting, resource management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe, efficient delivery and strong client outcomes, while driving continuous improvement and meeting contractual milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a Project Management role within Oil & Gas, industrial services, maintenance, shutdowns, decommissioning, or related heavy industry environment.
• Proven experience managing complex project scopes with responsibility for safety, delivery, commercial performance and client outcomes.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, forecasting and cost control principles.
• Experience managing project budgets and delivering work within timeframes and financial targets.
• Experience with Tier 1 clients and stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to identify risks, opportunities and improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management and quality assurance requirements.
• Proven leadership in safety-focused, high-performance environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of project scopes with safe, efficient and profitable execution.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts and performance to meet objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as the primary contact for project delivery.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, subcontractors and internal resources.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE, quality and client requirements.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while addressing challenges and opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams to optimise delivery and resource utilisation.
• Oversee planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out across scopes.
• Provide leadership and direction to supervisors and project teams for high performance.
• Ensure contractual obligations and milestones are met; support tendering, budgeting and planning for future opportunities.
• Prepare and present reports, metrics and cost forecasts to stakeholders.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
