Job summary

Datacom in Sydney seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead Cybersecurity, Infrastructure and Network projects for our diverse client base. You will manage budgets, contracts, and cross‑functional delivery teams while maintaining strong governance and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires Australian citizenship with eligibility for security clearances. You will mentor teams, drive Agile practices, and work across a range of technology domains within Datacom.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior project management experience.
• Experience delivering IT infrastructure or cybersecurity projects.
• Experience with Agile; Waterfall experience is a plus.
• Strong financial expertise including budgets and contracts.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2/Agile) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping and planning for projects.
• Manage project teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, risks and issues.
• Ensure governance and reporting requirements are met.
• Handle invoicing and billing activities.
• Mentor fellow project management team members.
• Embrace Agile ways of working and standard tool sets.
