Job summary

Amida Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Sydney-based team, delivering data centre, high-end residential, mixed-use, commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have client-side or consultancy exposure and a proven ability to manage complex, live-site constructions.

With 7–15+ years in PM, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams, oversee design coordination, manage regulatory approvals, and drive program and cost controls to successful project

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or similar.
• 7–15+ years in a client-side PM role; head contractor experience ideal.
• End-to-end project management from concept to completion.
• Exposure to program management, timelines and critical paths.
• Experience on building projects including commercial fit-out is a bonus.
• Ability to run multiple smaller projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory approvals and design coordination.
• Coordinate stakeholders and liaise with multiple teams.
• Work in a live environment with buildings open during construction.
• Oversee health and safety, program management and contract administration.
• Direct construction management and handle site variations and changes.

Candidates can come from Head Contractor or Client/Consultancy Side but ideally will have some client/consultancy side experience.

Our client is a leading project management consultancy with an established pipeline of Data Centre, High End Residential, Mixed Use, Commercial and Industrial projects across mostly new build with some fit out / refurbishment as well. They are now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their successful team based in their Sydney office.

The business is rapidly expanding and is a high functioning mid-sized client-side PM consultancy with a presence multiple states.

The candidate can come from a head contractor, or a client side/consultancy background however ideally will have some client side/consultancy experience. Excellent progression opportunities available.

Ideally looking for the individual to have data centre construction delivery experience.

Years of experience:

7 to 15 years+

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Managing regulatory approvals

• Working in a \"live\" environment (some of the buildings may remain open during construction)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Degree Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar


• A minimum of 7 - 15+ years' experience in a client-side PM role, head contractor experience would also be ideal


• Proven end to end project management skills from concept through to completion


• Exposure to program management, managing timelines and critical paths


• Experience of end to end project management on a variety of building projects, commercial fit out would be an advantage


• Experience of running multiple smaller projects
