Job summary

Unita is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead fitout and construction projects across Australia. You’ll drive delivery from pre-construction to handover, balancing programme, budget, quality, safety and client expectations.

You’ll collaborate with Site Managers, consultants and subcontractors, identifying risks early and making pragmatic decisions to protect project outcomes while maintaining Unita's standards and commercial position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering fitout or construction projects across multiple sectors.
• Strong capability managing budgets, programmes, subcontractors and client relationships.
• Trade or tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management or similar (mandatory).
• General Construction Induction Card (mandatory).
• Driver’s licence (mandatory).
• Certificate IV in WHS (desired).

About the role

As a Project Manager at Unita, you’re the on-field captain – bringing leadership, structure and direction throughout delivery while balancing programme, quality, commercial outcomes and client expectations every step of the way, ensuring every project is delivered to a standard we're proud to put our name on.

You’ll work closely with Site Managers, Contracts Administrators, consultants and clients, making practical decisions that keep projects moving while protecting Unita's commercial position. You’ll be trusted to identify risks early, solve problems before they escalated, and create confidence for everyone involved.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading projects from pre-construction through to handover.
• Managing programme, budget, quality, safety and commercial outcomes.
