Job summary

ACCIONA Australia is seeking a lead for tower construction across multiple regional work fronts. You will coordinate foundations, steel and erection, mentor site engineers, and ensure delivery to program while aligning with safety, risk and cost targets.

You will report to the Construction Manager - Towers, resolve RFIs, manage interfaces across foundations, logistics and fabrication, and drive productivity with geographically dispersed teams. Camp-based regional role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering transmission tower or structural works.
• Sound knowledge of foundations, steel fabrication and erection.
• Managed site delivery across multiple work fronts and interfaces.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, risk and compliance.

Project Information

Help deliver a new 500 kV double-circuit transmission line project that will connect more than 3,000 MW of new renewable generation to the grid and power up to one million homes. The scope spans earthworks and access tracks, tower foundations, steel supply and erection, logistics and regional camp accommodation.

About the Opportunity

Report to the Construction Manager - Towers and lead day-to-day delivery of tower works, from foundations readiness through steel delivery, erection and completion. Work with construction managers and the foundations, logistics, safety, environment and commercial teams to keep works on program, cost and risk targets. Resolve technical and site issues, answer RFIs and drive productivity across multiple, geographically dispersed work fronts. You will also mentor project engineers, site engineers and supervisors, and shape how towers are built.
