Job summary

CMC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the Landslip Remediation project in Lismore. You will oversee design, piling, retaining walls, and slope stabilization, reporting to the Project Director with autonomy to drive outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with 10+ years experience in infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, and procurement. A strong safety culture and leadership are essential for success on this major site.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified Civil Engineer with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in landslip remediation is highly desirable.
• Delivery of infrastructure projects with bulk earthworks and drainage experience.
• Procurement and management of external suppliers; and management of infrastructure.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence project outcomes with strong commercial and technical skills.
• Maintain and update the contract program and monitor costs and forecasts.
• Provide daily support to field operations to meet targets.
• Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities under the head contract.
• Develop people to deliver high quality project outcomes and safety culture.
