Job summary

Built is a leading privately owned construction company with operations across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the engineering delivery of complex commercial projects from design through to completion.

You will work with the Project Manager and wider team to provide technical leadership, drive engineering excellence and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering high-value commercial construction projects and managing complex interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, design management, procurement processes and contract administration.
• Proven leadership capability with mentoring engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of projects from design coordination and procurement through to construction and project close out.
• Drive innovative engineering and value engineering solutions that improve project outcomes while managing risk.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders to resolve complex design and construction challenges.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a critical role in delivering some of our most complex commercial construction projects.
