Job summary

Gray Puksand is seeking an Associate level or Senior Project Architect to lead the Canberra studio’s delivery of major projects across Commercial, Education and Health sectors. You will drive from concept to completion, mentor teams, manage client relationships and coordinate consultants in a collaborative practice environment.

You will combine strong design thinking with delivery expertise, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to the growth of the studio while upholding design

Qualifications

• 10+ years architectural experience on medium to large-scale projects.
• Registered Architect in ACT.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and clients.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior staff in design and delivery across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and management of projects from concept through to contract administration.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to project teams and clients.
• Manage day-to-day operations and update Partners as required.
• Oversee project documentation and review drawings in Revit; mentor team members.
• Mentor, coach and develop junior team members across design, documentation and delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors; support business growth.
