Peoplebank is partnering with a high-growth Australian SaaS business focused on AI, computer vision, and robotics. You will take ownership of product design within a 15+ person engineering team, becoming the go-to UX/UI designer and shaping the product direction with product and engineering.
You’ll lead end-to-end design, from understanding user problems to polished interfaces, while championing visual craft and collaboration with engineers to deliver intuitive, high-quality experiences.
Great designers know the difference between a screen that works and a product that feels right. This team obsesses over the second.
We're partnering with a high-growth Australian SaaS business whose technology is used by organisations operating in complex, high-risk environments. With an established product, a strong customer base and an ambitious roadmap, design plays a central role in how the platform continues to evolve.
The business is now investing in a next-generation product at the intersection of AI, computer vision, robotics and intelligent systems. Think mobile and agentic technologies operating in real-world environments. It's an exciting opportunity to help translate some genuinely innovative technology into intuitive, practical experiences for enterprise customers.
Reporting to a highly regarded Head of Design, you'll take ownership of product design within a 15+ person engineering team, becoming the go-to person for UX and UI and working closely with product and engineering to shape the direction of the product.
You’ll own the design process end to end, from understanding user problems and exploring concepts through to interaction design, prototyping and polished final interfaces.
This is a collaborative, low-ego environment where designers have a genuine voice. You'll be encouraged to challenge thinking, bring clarity to complex problems and work closely with engineers to ensure the experience translates into a high-quality product.
The work extends beyond traditional screens. You’ll be designing for real-world environments and considering how people interact with intelligent systems, mobile applications and emerging technologies in the field.
We're looking for a true product designer who enjoys solving complex problems but also cares deeply about the details, visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, interaction patterns and creating experiences that feel intuitive and effortless.
Visual craft is particularly important. We want to see someone who takes real pride in their work and can demonstrate how they've taken a complex problem and turned it into a beautifully considered, intuitive product experience.
You’ll be asked to walk through a product you’re particularly proud of during the interview process, taking us through the original problem, your thinking and design decisions, and the final outcome.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
If you need adjustments to the recruitment process due to your circumstances, please let us know—we’re here to support you.
