George P. Johnson Australia & New Zealand seeks a Senior Producer with a focus on partner relations to manage end-to-end event production for high-profile briefs. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive efficiency, and ensure premium experiences from ideation to execution.

You will collaborate with digital, content, live, sponsorship and registration teams to deliver results, mentor staff, and maintain strong client and partner relationships in a fast-paced, growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum nine (9) years of event experience in the B2B industry or corporate environment.
  • Minimum four (5) years experience in a producer role.
  • Expertise in creative, project and event management practices.
  • Proficiency in client relations and management.
  • Experience in managing and motivating teams, and an ability to foster positive relations.
  • Excellent budget management, strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office and project management software.
  • A keen creative eye with an ability to input into the creative process.
  • A decisive mind and a process-driven approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Support or lead the project team in managing processes from planning to creative to execution and close out.
  • Deliver accurate and timely project administration, including reporting, timelines and tasking, purchase orders, vendor set-ups, reconciling and budget administration, venue research, Workbook management and compliance with internal processes and procedures.
  • Support team proficiency through thought leadership and skill sharing, managing and mentoring team members under your direct supervision.
  • Proactively manage client relationships and interagency relationships through excellent written and verbal communication, presentations, meetings.
  • Engaging creative and production experts to meet client objectives with best-in-class production solutions, supporting cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Manage financial responsibilities including budgeting, estimating, purchase orders, approval of invoices, and tracking of all internal and external costs to achieve job profit target.
  • Cultivating a diverse portfolio of preferred relationships with vendors and 3rd party suppliers across all categories, negotiating for quality and cost efficiency.
  • Lead or contribute to regular WIP meetings with internal/external teams and clients to enable effective project planning.

JOB TITLE: Senior Producer/Partner Relations


LOCATION: Sydney or Melbourne


REPORTS TO: Head of Integrated Production


JOB TYPE: Full-time (hybrid, three days in office and two days work from home)


IN BRIEF

As Senior Producer, you are responsible for the end-to-end management of high-quality, innovative and engaging production outputs for the client’s briefs, from ideation to reconciliation. You are adept at working autonomously or as part of a team and have experience managing the workflow of others with an empowering, growth mindset. You will work closely with digital, content, live, sponsorship and registration (Integrated Production), strategy and creative teams to drive project efficiency and profitability.


You pride yourself on delivering exceptional work with flawless execution, and you work collaboratively to produce premium experiences while balancing flexibility, creativity and attention to detail. Your adaptability to the unexpected is outstanding, and your ability to cultivate trusting relationships with clients ensures project and team success no matter the brief. Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain momentum from kick-off to execution are critical to success in this role.

In addition to being an experienced SP and delivering events you will also have the opportunity to lead the partner relationships for one of our flagship global events.



  • Partner & Sponsor Enablement: Serve as the primary relationship lead and strategic partner liaison for a flagship event portfolio.

  • Partner Satisfaction & CSAT: Oversee end-to-end partner onboarding, production deliverables, and sponsor experiences.

  • Brand & Compliance Governance: Ensure all partner activation builds, digital content, and co-branded experiences strictly align with brand guidelines, partner program standards, and event compliance frameworks.
