Job summary

Sense, an Australian-owned creative experience design agency, seeks a Senior Event Producer to lead large-scale conferences and corporate events nationwide. You will manage schedules, budgets, and supplier relationships, working with our Australian team reporting to senior production leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in events, a strong client-facing mindset, and a passion for design. The role supports remote work and Sydney-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading brand experiences, corporate events, and/or conferences (Australian agency experience a bonus).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex conferences, brand activations, and corporate events across Australia.
• Own budget creation, reconciliation, and revenue tracking; monitor financial health of projects.
• Collaborate with designers, creative directors, and printers on design and print production.
• Brief, negotiate with suppliers, technical/build partners, and venues within budget.
• Coach and uplift junior and mid-level producers, fostering growth in a ego-free environment.
• Keep internal teams, clients, and external partners aligned via communication tools.

About The Role

As a Senior Event Producer, you will work on large scale, design-led conferences and bespoke corporate events across Australia, from response to brief through to show day. You’ll be the operational and financial backbone of your projects, driving flawless delivery, budget health, and strong client relationships. You will work alongside our Australian team, reporting to the Executive Producer and Director of Production & Projects.

Please note this role is targeted for a February 2027 start and we will only consider Sydney-based candidates for this role.

A major focus of this role involves:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex conferences, brand activations, and corporate events, driving schedules, suppliers, technical execution, and venue logistics with precision and an eye for detail.
• You love numbers and live in the detail. You’ll own budget creation, reconciliation, and revenue tracking, always knowing exactly where a project stands financially at any given moment.
• Work alongside designers, creative directors, and printers to seamlessly manage both small-scale and large-scale design and print production.
• Brief, negotiate with, and lead suppliers, technical/build partners, and venues to bring creative concepts to life within budget.
• Guide, coach, and uplift junior and mid-level producers, fostering their career growth in an environment free of egos.
• Keep internal teams, clients, and external partners aligned via Slack, Google Workspace, and real-time comms.

About You

• 12+ years leading brand experiences, corporate events, and/or conferences (experience within an Australian event agency and with tech clients is a huge bonus!)
• A natural client lead, you manage relationships directly with no middle layers—giving our clients greater agility, speed, and efficiency.
• You know your numbers inside out, comfortable taking ownership of budgets and protecting project margins.
• Calibrated to fast-moving briefs and frequent project changes, remaining calm, professional, and solution-focused no matter what pops up.
• You have a strong eye for design, ensuring all touchpoints consistently meet brand standards.
• You adapt quickly to shifting project priorities, love learning new ways of working, and pivot smoothly when plans change.
• You believe no task is too small (or too big), and you're always ready to jump in and support the team.
• Thrives in a remote, work-from-home setup.
