Job summary

WorkSafe Victoria, Victoria's workplace health and safety regulator, is seeking a Senior Advisor, Power Generation. The role delivers specialist written and verbal construction advice and mentors Appointed Inspectors, supported by a comprehensive training program.

Candidates should have deep power generation knowledge, 5–10 years in power generation, boiler/turbine operation, with strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and a solid understanding of Victorian OHS obligations.

Qualifications

• Strong power generation knowledge including boiler and turbine operation.
• Significant negotiation and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to coach and mentor inspectors and workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist written and verbal construction advice.
• Coach and mentor Appointed Inspectors.
• Support and contribute to the Position Description and recruitment process.
