Job summary

Randstad NV in Geelong is partnering with a major government organisation to recruit a Senior Project Manager for a 6-month claims platform transformation. The role oversees end-to-end delivery of complex business and IT projects, balancing scope, budget, and timelines while modernising core claims systems.

You will align executives, business stakeholders, and delivery teams across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid frameworks, ensuring governance and risk management are embedded in every milestone.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience leading complex business transformation projects.
• Experience in Insurance, Claims Management, Health/Disability, or Government sectors.
• Experience delivering platform modernisations or enterprise technology implementations.
• Proficiency with Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies; PRINCE2 or Agile certifications.
• On-site at Geelong headquarters 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex business transformation and IT core claims platform projects; ensure alignment with budget, time and quality standards.
• Influence and collaborate with senior executives, steering committees, and partner organisations.
• Establish delivery plans, risk management/mitigation strategies, scope controls, and progress reporting for PMO leaders.
• Direct, mentor, and build high-performing cross-functional project teams.
• Partner with change management to ensure smooth operational adoption and minimal disruption to stakeholders.
