Job summary

Avida in Penrith, NSW is seeking a qualified Plumber with a Gas Testing Ticket to join a fast-paced team. You will install gas fittings and appliances, perform leak testing, and train staff on correct techniques and standards.

You will ensure all work and instructions are up to date, adhere to ADR and WHS guidelines, and contribute to a high standard of safe gas installations within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Gas testing ticket required.
• Mentoring skills are valued.
• Strong time management and teamwork essential.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe and hose assemblies, fittings and valves.
• Install appliances such as heater units, cooktops and generators.
• Gas testing and sign-off including leak testing with water/air gauges.
• Train production staff in installation techniques and standards.
• Ensure instructions are up to date and accurate.
• Adhere to ADR (Australian Design Rules) and WHS standards.
• Ensure quality and integrity of gas installations.
• Work as part of a productive team with a Friday finish.
