Job summary

TasNetworks, based in Cambridge, is seeking a Planning Specialist to shape maintenance, capital and customer-driven programs across its Distribution network. You’ll translate business priorities into practical delivery plans, balancing resources, risk and customer requirements to support safe, efficient and cost-effective network activities.

You will work with planning, design, field operations and asset management teams, optimise work packages and provide sound recommendations in complex

Qualifications

Qualifications in project management, business systems or related discipline.
Utility industry experience with electricity distribution, maintenance, construction or trade knowledge.
Proven success managing complex, high-risk work programs and competing priorities.
Strong capability with SAP or equivalent ERP, Power BI, and geospatial tech.

Responsibilities

Optimise work packages, resource allocation and delivery schedules to maximise productivity while meeting safety, budget and performance objectives.
Assess competing priorities, operational constraints and network risks to support informed planning decisions.
Coordinate planning and execution of complex maintenance, capital and customer-driven programs with operational and technical teams.
Use enterprise systems, geospatial technologies and planning data to monitor performance, identify risks and improve delivery outcomes.
