Job summary

Wave International Pty Ltd in Perth (QV1 office) is seeking an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join our team on a 3-4 month contract, with potential extensions depending on project needs. This role supports engineering, project delivery and asset management across mineral sectors.

You will develop piping and pipe support drawings, produce Plant 3D models and 2D isometrics, and ensure deliverables meet codes, client and regulatory requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

Piping design experience in mining/minerals processing sector.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Plant 3D.
Navisworks experience highly regarded.
Strong experience in piping design, modelling, detailing and drawing production.
Excellent written and verbal communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Develop piping and pipe support standard detail drawings.
Produce and check Plant 3D models and 2D isometric drawings.
Assist with the preparation and development of project‑specific procedures.
Provide technical piping design support across project teams and the wider business.
Ensure deliverables meet relevant codes, standards, client requirements and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate piping and mechanical design requirements with other disciplines and project team members.
