Job summary

Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is seeking a Senior Pharmacist for the Central Adelaide Local Health Network in Adelaide. The role involves joining the Emergency Department pharmacy team, supporting patient safety and medication governance across RAH and QEH with extended hours.

You will need a Bachelor of Pharmacy, be registered or eligible with the Pharmacy Board of Australia, and bring hospital pharmacy experience with leadership capability.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent and be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
• Bring extensive hospital pharmacy experience across multiple clinical areas, strong technical knowledge of pharmacy practice and relevant professional standards, with demonstrated leadership, supervisory or management experience.
• Postgraduate pharmacy qualifications or Advanced Pharmacy Australia training will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Join CALHN Pharmacy in the Emergency Departments at RAH and QEH with an established pharmacist team.
• Work a seven-day extended hours roster across up to three shifts per day.
• Apply critical thinking to clinical decision making and chart safely with attention to detail.
• Lead, supervise and educate staff while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
