Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Pharmacist / Senior Pharmaceutical Scientist to join the Aseptic Production Unit (APU). The role focuses on overseeing aseptic production processes, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance for unlicensed medicines produced and released for patient care.

• Registered Pharmacist with post-qualification experience in aseptic services.
• Experience with GMP/quality systems and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to supervise staff and provide practical training.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee validation of aseptic production processes to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Contribute to product lifecycle processes including development and quality review.
• Attend local and regional meetings to represent the APU and Liverpool NHS Foundation Trust.
• Supervise pharmacists, scientists, technicians and students and provide training where necessary.
• Perform risk assessments and guide the team to ensure medicines legislation compliance.
• Deputise for the Lead Pharmacists (Technical Services) as required.
