Job summary

Santos Ltd is seeking a Senior Performance & Development Adviser to design, develop and implement our Performance Framework and people development strategy. You will create and execute specialist performance and development programs that build the capability needed to achieve our strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Seasoned professional with experience in organizational development, focused on performance and development.
• Ability to develop and implement learning strategies and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong change and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation of the Santos Performance Framework.
• Lead the Santos Development Framework to support performance, growth and careers.
• Own and maintain the Santos Career Framework including career pathways.
• Own the goals, performance and development modules in SuccessFactors to enhance employee experience.
• Guide People and Culture leaders to embed people management programs including performance management, career pathways, capability frameworks and onboarding.
• Collaborate with People and Culture, People Services, P&C Leadership and L&D to deliver learning and development projects and people experience processes.
• Use facilitation and coaching to build leader capability in performance conversations, development planning, career discussions and identification of employee strengths and development opportunities.
• Identify improvement and AI opportunities, use data and insights to strengthen workforce decision-making and engage stakeholders to implement meaningful change.

What You’ll Do

Santos is seeking a dynamic Senior Performance & Development Adviser to lead the design, development, and implementation of our Performance Framework and people development strategy. In this role, you'll create and execute specialist performance and development strategies, programs, and initiatives that build the capability needed to achieve our strategic objectives.

You will collaborate across teams (Culture, Reward & L&D) to integrate key frameworks integral to supporting a high-performance culture. You will also draw performance, capability and development insights to identify critical future skill needs, prioritise talent development and management initiatives, ensuring a commercial focus that aligns with our business goals. Key Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)

• Leading the design, development and implementation of the Santos Performance Framework, including execution of annual performance cycle
• Lead the design, development and implementation of the Santos Development Framework to support employee performance, professional growth and careers
• Own and maintain the Santos Career Framework including career pathways
• Own the goals, performance and development modules in SuccessFactors to enhance employee and user experience and enable effective performance and development processes
• Guide People and Culture and business leaders to embed people management programs including performance management, career pathways, capability frameworks and onboarding
• Collaborate with People and Culture, People Services, P&C Leadership and the Learning and Development Manager to deliver learning and development projects and people experience processes
• Use facilitation and coaching to build leader capability in performance conversations, development planning, career discussions and identification of employee strengths and development opportunities
• Identify improvement and AI opportunities, use data and insights to strengthen workforce decision-making and engage stakeholders to implement meaningful change
