Bindaree Food Group is seeking a senior generalist People & Culture professional to own key employee relations initiatives, workforce planning, recruitment, systems and continuous improvement from their Inverell site in regional NSW. The role offers an opportunity to influence across the site and community while supporting operational performance and people outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and document workplace investigations and disciplinary matters, ensuring decisions are well supported and recorded.
• Deliver People & Culture initiatives and site communications to keep team informed and connected.
• Maintain accurate employee data and records across relevant systems with reliable reporting for site leadership.

Job Description

The impact you'll make:

• Coordinate a portfolio of recruitment, onboarding and employee movements to maintain workforce coverage and support operational performance.
• Partner with leaders on performance, attendance and behaviour matters, providing practical advice that is fair, consistent and aligned with company processes.
• Manage and document workplace investigations and disciplinary matters, ensuring decisions are well supported, recorded and applied consistently.
• Deliver People & Culture initiatives and site communications that keep team members informed, supported and connected.
• Maintain accurate employee data and records across relevant systems, providing reliable reporting, trend insights and support to site leadership.

Desired Skills and Experience

You'll bring the passion and:

• Demonstrated experience in a generalist People & Culture or HR Advisor role.
• Sound employee relations knowledge, including performance, conduct, investigations and procedural fairness.
• Confidence providing practical advice to operational managers and supervisors.
• Understanding of awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Good judgement, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
