Talent Corp is seeking experienced Lead Penetration Testers to join a major Australian Federal Government agency delivering essential services. This 12-month contract offers the chance to lead complex offensive security testing across large-scale systems from Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide.

An active NV1 security clearance is required prior to commencement. You will lead penetration testing engagements, perform web/mobile/app and infrastructure assessments on Windows and Linux, and

Formación

• Extensive experience delivering complex penetration testing and vulnerability assessments in large enterprise or government environments.
• Advanced technical skills in web application penetration testing and infrastructure security assessments.
• Strong experience testing Windows and Linux environments and enterprise networks.
• Ability to lead engagements, develop testing methodologies and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of digital forensics including evidence collection and incident investigation.
• Certifications such as CREST, OSCP, OSCE3, PenTest+, CEH or GIAC are highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver complex penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across enterprise applications, infrastructure and networks.
• Conduct simulated cyberattacks and advanced threat assessments to identify security weaknesses and validate existing controls.
• Perform web application, mobile application and infrastructure penetration testing across Windows and Linux environments.
• Develop and oversee penetration testing plans, methodologies, test execution and reporting.
• Analyse security vulnerabilities, assess associated risks and provide practical remediation recommendations.
• Work closely with technical teams, system owners and stakeholders to validate security improvements and ensure identified vulnerabilities are addressed.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to security professionals while supporting team priorities and delivery outcomes.
