Job summary

The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) is seeking a Senior Strength and Conditioning Practitioner to lead the S&C support for the National Para Winter Sport Program, working with Para Alpine Skiing, Para Snowboarding and Para Cross Country athletes at NSTC Jindabyne.

You will manage the NSTC facility, provide expert advice, and mentor the S&C Coach, with involvement in camps and community activity as required.

Qualifications

• Honours or Master’s degree in Exercise, Health, Sport Science or related field.
• ASCA Professional Level 2 S&C Accreditation or international equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the S&C servicing for the National Para Winter Sport Program for multiple disciplines.
• Manage the NSTC Strength and Conditioning Facility, equipment, operations and maintenance.
• Mentor the NSTC S&C Coach and backfill for NSTC camps, teams and local athletes.
