Qualifications

• CertificateIII in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of automotive panel beating and body repair.
• Ability to complete repairs to a high standard.
• Understanding of welding, metalworking and repair equipment.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Ability to provide verifiable employment and qualification evidence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and determine suitable repair procedures.
• Identify damage to body panels, frames and structural components.
• Repair, remove and replace damaged panels and parts.
• Perform panel straightening and structural realignment.
• Carry out welding and metalworking required for vehicle repairs.
• Operate body repair tools and workshop equipment correctly.
• Coordinate with mechanics and spray painters throughout the repair process.
• Check completed repairs for accuracy, safety and quality.
• Maintain safe working practices and workshop standards.
• Keep tools and work areas clean, organised and ready for use.
