A regional health service is seeking a Consultant Paediatrician to join their expanding team in Western Australia. This role offers a competitive salary package of up to approximately $523,000 per annum, including allowances, and opportunities for both full-time and part-time contracts. The position involves providing specialist paediatric and neonatal services, mentoring junior staff, and participating in community outreach. Qualifications

• Experience in acute and chronic paediatric care and neonatal presentations.
• Involved in teaching and supervision of junior medical staff.
• Engagement in clinical governance and service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist paediatric and neonatal services across the region.
• Handle on-call responsibilities.
• Participate in outreach to surrounding communities.

Skills

FRACP (Paediatrics & Child Health) or equivalent

Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff

Strong interest in neonatal and developmental paediatrics

Commitment to culturally respectful healthcare delivery

Education

Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
