Job summary

Diversey Care in Melbourne invites applications for a Senior Speech Pathologist to lead, mentor and develop other clinicians while maintaining a clinical caseload of paediatric clients. You will deliver assessments and therapy, supervise junior therapists, and contribute to high-quality reports and team growth.

Applicants should have a Speech Pathology degree, CPSP eligibility, and at least four years of experience, with strong paediatric expertise and the ability to handle complex cases.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Eligibility for CPSP status with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Minimum 4 years of clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist.
• Strong paediatric clinical experience, including NDIS assessment and intervention.
• Willingness to work with adult clients when required.
• Pervious experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Able to achieve 25 billable hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality speech pathology assessments and therapy, particularly for paediatric clients.
• Assess and manage complex communication needs, including speech, language, social communication and AAC.
• Prepare comprehensive clinical reports, including NDIS funding reviews, Change of Circumstances reports, AAC assessments and complex communication reports.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and guidance to junior Speech Pathologists.
• Review clinical reports and support junior therapists in developing their clinical reasoning and documentation skills.
• Collaborate with families, schools, support coordinators and multidisciplinary teams to achieve meaningful client outcomes.
• Independently manage your caseload, clinical documentation and billable workload.
