Job summary

SOS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to lead a growing allied health team in Canberra. The role combines hands-on paediatric therapy with leadership, mentoring and professional development within a supportive multidisciplinary practice.

You will supervise junior therapists, contribute to the growth of services, and help design an innovative sensory gym while delivering high-quality, family-centred care. Hybrid working flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration and eligibility to work in Australia.
• Experience delivering paediatric Occupational Therapy services.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for children with diverse needs.
• Develop, implement and review individualised therapy plans.
• Deliver clinic and school-based interventions and monitor progress.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior Occupational Therapists and students.
• Prepare clinical documentation and NDIs reports and participate in IEP meetings.
