Job summary

Ericsson in Sydney, NSW seeks a Senior MS Core Cloud Specialist – Packet Core to lead and evolve Packet Core networks across Australian data centers. You will manage Ericsson PS Core nodes and Amdocs PCF/PCRF, perform upgrades, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with cross‑domain teams.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of PS Core experience on Ericsson platforms, with strong fault management, network engineering and vendor escalation skills. This is a senior, on‑site role in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Electronics, CS or equivalent.
• 15+ years PS Core network engineering — hands‑on Ericsson platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Ericsson PS Core nodes (vSGSNMME, vCGSNMME, vCSGNEPG, vEPG, LTE-CA, DNS, Native WMG).
• Manage Amdocs PCF (N7/N15/N28) and PCRF (Gx/Gy/Gz) nodes.
• Perform fault management, incident resolution and root-cause analysis for PS Core outages.
• Execute software upgrades, patch management and capacity expansions on Ericsson/Amdocs platforms.
• Monitor network KPIs with Grafana/ENM; proactively resolve degradations.
• Provide Level 3 support and vendor TAC escalation management.
