Job summary

West Moreton Health in Queensland is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support patient flow and safe transitions of care at Ipswich Hospital.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the AHPRA.
• Vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases per Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
• Ability to manage clinical caseloads and monitor practice outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify barriers to discharge and facilitate safe transitions of care.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient flow and reduce hospital length of stay.
• Work with the Occupational Therapy Department at Ipswich Hospital, especially in general medical wards and Emergency Department services.
