Job summary

Mediix in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs is expanding its multidisciplinary team and seeks an Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join. The clinic has a long-standing reputation for evidence-based, client-centred therapy and staff retention.

The role offers a predominantly paediatric caseload with opportunities for adult clients, and collaboration with an in-house Speech Pathology team. You will work in a warm, values-led practice with strong supervision and CPD support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• General AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapy Board of Australia).
• Proficiency in Mandarin (highly desirable).
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate — please enquire).
• Willingness to supervise junior practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Predominantly paediatric caseload with potential for adult clients.
• Conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and perform functional capacity assessments; liaise with families and schools.
• Collaborate with in-house Speech Pathology team to support client goals.
• Manage a mix of NDIS, private, and Medicare funding streams.
• Primarily clinic-based one-on-one sessions with scope for community, school and telehealth work.
